UWIN Card 2022 full form is Unorganized Worker Identification Number. It is introduced in 2014 by the Gujarat State Ministry of Labor and Central Government under the Unorganized Workers Social Security Act 2008. Through these schemes, social and financial security is provided to the unorganized workers and all the workers from the unorganized sector will get this card with a unique number.

You can also get your unique card by Under this whole project, there are around 47 crore Unorganized sector workers who are entitled to be joined with this card. This especially social security schemes or programs that are managed by EPFO and ESIC.

With the help of this 47 crore Unorganized sector workers will be joined with this Smart Id Card. Out of this 82.7% are particularly from Child Labour and 17.2% are from NSSC 2011-12. The government of Gujarat has allocated an amount of 402 crores in order to implement this project in two phases. Also, this can be registered through the CSC center.

In the SECC 2011 database individual and family information which ranges from demographic details, income, employment, property files along with family links are captured. The database of UWIN will use the field from the SECC database along with the additional information which is provided by the unregulated agents during the registration and validation phase. Eligibility Standard for UWIN Card

The eligibility criteria for UWIN Card are given below :

• Anyone who wants to apply should be an unorganized worker.
• The entry age for or registration is 18 to 60 years old.
• The worker must be a native of Gujarat state.
• The eligible worker must have worked as a building and another construction worker for not less than 90 days in the last 12 months.

Objective Of UWIN Card

The main objective of the UWIN Card is to create a unified database of informal workers in order to provide them with social security services. With the implementation of the UWIN program identification of unorganized workers can be done.

This platform will also assist in identifying and enabling the skills, development requirements, employer and worker mapping, and result-based policy formulation and decision making. The data collected with the help of the UWIN Card is used for the betterment of workers, there is a total of 15 crore families (40 Lakh Workers) will be connected with this project.

• Now, enter your full name, Aadhar card number, gender, date of birth, phone number, email address, choose a password, confirm the password, and lastly user type.
• After this, select the user type as a Construction worker.
• After that, enter the captcha code and click on the register button.
