Bihar Kushal Yuva Program 2022

Bihar Kushal Yuva Program has been launched by Bihar Skill Development Mission on 16 December 2016. Through this scheme, skill training will be provided to the youth of the state in the age group of 15 to 28 years. So that they can get employment. Only those youths who have passed class X will be able to benefit from Bihar Kushal Yuva Program. Through this scheme, soft skill training will be provided by the government which will include life skills, communication skills, and basic computer literacy. This training will enhance the employability of the youth. The training will be provided to the youth through training centers. Till July 8, 2017, 112000 youth have been provided training under this scheme and 1100 training centers have been opened in the state.

Initially, this scheme was started with only 48 centers and 1978 youth. These training centers are being operated in every district of the state. A target has been set to cover each block of the state under this scheme. All those youths of the state who want to get the benefit of this scheme will have to apply under this scheme.

Objectives of Bihar Kushal Yuva Program

• The main objective of Bihar Kushal Yuva Yojana is to provide skill training to the citizens of the state.
• Through this scheme, the youth of the state will get help in getting employment.
• Now, the citizens of the state will be able to get free skill training through this scheme so that their skills will be developed and the unemployment rate will come down in the state.
• Through this scheme, the youth of the state will become strong and self-reliant and their standard of living will also improve.
• The youth of the state will also be able to get information about life skills, communication skills, and basic computer literacy through this scheme.

KYP Center Registration Fee Structure

• The application fee of ₹ 3000 will have to be paid by the training center while filling the registration form.
• The training center will also have to deposit a ₹ 1000 course affiliation fee.
• In addition, a non-refundable processing fee will be required to be paid at any time to the training center which will be ₹ 500.
• Every year the training center will have to renew its application.
• The fee for renewal of application will be ₹ 1500.
• The training center will also have to renew the course affiliation fee every year.
• ₹ 1000 will have to be paid to renew the course application fee.
• Fee can be paid through net banking or debit card or credit card.

Bihar Kushal Yuva Program Course Fee

• The beneficiary will have to deposit a security deposit of ₹ 1000 while taking admission under this scheme.
• This fee will be returned to the beneficiary after successful completion of the course duration.
• This fee will be deposited in the account of the beneficiary within one month of the completion of the training period.
• The amount will not be refunded to the beneficiary who leaves the course midway or fails to clear the final exam even after three attempts.

Bihar Kushal Yuva Program Eligibility

• Applicant should be a permanent resident of Bihar.
• The applicant’s age should be between 15 to 28 years.
• The educational qualification of the candidate should be at least 10th pass.
• It is mandatory for all the youth who are between 20 to 25 years of age and are provided with Self Help Allowance, to complete this training.
