U-DISE code stands for Integrated District Information System for Education. It is currently in use for many school-related functions in India. It serves as a unique identifier for all recognized and unrecognized schools imparting formal education from Pre-Primary to XII.

The 11-digit UDISE code belongs to the school, which covers the entire life cycle of the school from opening to closing. This life cycle consists of four phases, which are as follows:-

• UDISE Code Generation
• Amendment in school details
• Change in UDISE Status
• School closure
• If a school gets this UDISE code, it becomes permanent. It can be changed manually only by the Center when the district or state of a school changes.

• On the Student SDMS page, you have to click on the registration tab.
• Then, a new page will open in front of you.
• Here, you have to read the instructions carefully.
• After this, click on the “Continue” button.

Procedure to Know the Details of Classes

Reset Your Password

• First, go to the official website of the portal.
• Then, you have to click on the option called Forget Password present in the user login dialogue box.
• Now, click on the option of “Forget Password”.
• After that, you have to enter your username and ID.
• Then, click on the “Submit” button.
• After this, you will receive the recovery email in your email id.

Find the UDISE Code of the School

• First, visit the official website of the School Report Card (SRC).
• The home page will open in front of you.
• Here, you have to click on the option “Missing Schools“.
• After that, a new page will open in front of you.
• Now, on this page select your information related to Academic Year, Block, RTE Grading, State, Cluster, District, and Village.
• A list of schools will appear on your computer screen as soon as you make the choice. From which you can easily search the UDISE number of your school.

Generate UDISE Code

• Firstly, the school is required to register itself on the SDMS portal to obtain the U-DISE code.
• For this, after the successful commencement of the school, it is informed to the concerned Block Education Officers (BEOs).
• After that, the “Block Education Officer (BEO)” maps the school to a cluster, and the details in the mapped cluster are sent to the school for verification.
• Now, after successful verification from the cluster officer, the Block Education Officer (BEO) can approve or reject the action for that school.
• Then, a provisional U-DISE code is generated for the school, if the school is approved by the Block Education Officers (BEO).
• After approval from Block Education Officers (BEO), the school gets approved by District Education Officers (DEO) to generate the final U-DISE code for the school.

UDISE School Code Number

• First, go to the official webpage of school report cards or popularly known as SRC.
• The homepage of the school report cards website.
• Here, you have to click on the option called to locate a school

• Select the details on the web page.
• Enter the academic year, block, and RTE Grading.
